Xiaomi launches Mi TV Q1: Using 55-inch 4K QLED panel, motion compensation technology
Xiaomi has just released its first QLED TV model called Mi TV Q1. The new Xiaomi TV stands out with a beautiful borderless design, packed with outstanding features such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio and MEMC.
Specifically, the Mi TV Q1 has a 55-inch 4K display (3,840 x 2,160 px), the screen-to-body ratio is 96%, with no bezel on the sides and top edge. Xiaomi says Mi TV Q1 supports 100% of the NTSC color gamut and 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. Moreover, the TV also integrates with Xiaomi's own Vivid Picture Engine technology.
And yet, the screen of the Mi TV Q1 also supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR 10 and HLG. In particular, the TV features MEMC (motion compensation technology), ensuring smooth display.
In terms of sound, Mi TV Q1 has a total of 6 speakers including 4 wide range speakers and 2 tweeters for a capacity of 30 W. Xiaomi says the TV's speaker range can respond to audio frequencies from 60 Hz. up to 200 KHz and supports Dolby Audio, DTS HD.
Mi TV Q1 is integrated with MediaTek MTK 9611 processor, comes with 2 GB RAM. As a result, the TV has an input lag of just 5 ms in 4K format, 60 Hz frequency. Another worthwhile point of Mi TV Q1 is that it comes pre-installed with Android 10 with the modern Patchwall user interface.
In terms of connectivity, the Mi TV Q1 comes with 3 HDMI 2.1 ports and Bluetooth 5.0 BLE technology. Just like most Android TV devices, Xiaomi's new TVs have Chromecast built-in, allowing content to be streamed from the phone to the TV screen.
Mi TV Q1 sold for 54,999 rupees (about 17.2 million) in India, this is also Xiaomi's first Made in India product.
