Leakage expert Ice Universe has just shared that Apple is ordering Samsung to produce foldable screen models. If everything goes according to plan, Apple could reach a one-year deal with the South Korean tech giant. This year, Samsung is expected to sell Apple 70 million OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone 12. LG is expected to ship 18 million missing apples.

With the foldable iPhone model, it was previously said to have a two-screen design like the Surface Duo. Currently, with Apple ordering foldable screens from Samsung, it may indicate that the development strategy of "defective" has changed.

According to a previous report, Apple will be selling its foldable device as a foldable iPad, which will run the iPadOS operating system instead of iOS as it is on the iPhone.

According to Jon Prosser, who is also one of the reputable leak experts before, revealed that the timing of a foldable iPhone will depend on when Corning's foldable tempered glass will be released.

For Samsung, this manufacturer makes its own ultra-thin protective glasses for its folding phone.

According to research firm Strategy Analytics, foldable smartphones will be the fastest growing series of high-end handsets in the next 10 years. Hopefully, Apple will launch its foldable phone soon next year.
